Natalie Staples, MA, LAC
As a therapist who works with individuals, couples, and families, I strive to create a safe and open space for my clients to share their story. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship — based on trust, respect, and authenticity — is vital to the healing process. In addition, I believe that everyone's story is uniquely important and that the journey towards healing begins with one's story being heard and understood. I consider it an honor and a privilege to walk with my clients as they take steps toward freedom from current and past wounds.
My therapeutic style is collaborative, holistic, and integrative in nature. I practice from an attachment/emotion-focused, body-centered, experiential, and trauma-informed perspective, and have received training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (Level 1).
I strive to work alongside my clients to guide and empower them to accomplish their goals. In order to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care, I consider the whole person — physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual — and use a variety of therapeutic approaches to cater to the needs and uniqueness of each individual. I also offer an integrated faith-based approach using a Christian-centered perspective for those who desire it.
My passion for holistic wellness and heart for people drive my therapeutic practice. Ultimately, my hope is that my clients find physical, emotional, mental and spiritual restoration through connection, self-awareness, and a renewed narrative that empowers them to make healthy, life-giving choices.
